A native of the San Jose area, Alexander holds a Bachelor's degree in Political 科学 from San Jose State 大学 and a Master's degree in Public Policy from Georgetown 大学. He has served as a legislative and policy advisor to California policymakers at the city, county, and state levels, where he has spearheaded legislative initiatives in a wide variety of policy areas, including campaign finance reform, housing production, tenant protections, and labor issues. He has also worked with NGOs in the nonprofit sector to support democratic development in Central and Western Asia. 在外面 classroom, Alexander enjoys playing music, reading and writing, and traveling the many beautiful and diverse locales California has to offer.
