"的 WITH-Cyber is an cybersecurity AI grant in partnership with Cal State San Bernardino (CSUSB) and Fresno State, San José State University hopes to address the shortage of cybersecurity professionals by promoting cybersecurity education programs that will result in the development of a skilled workforce.

This collaborative effort will also involve key stakeholders, with the mission to nurture and increase the number of skilled cybersecurity workers for the future. 的 effort will take place throughout California in all levels of education, from K-12 to community colleges and four-year universities."

的 菠菜网lol正规平台 team is led by PI Melody Moh (Professor and Chair of Computer 科学, College of 科学) and co-PI Xiao Xu (Assoc. Dean of 研究生学习 and Research, Charles W. Davidson of College of 工程). Our efforts include the following:

• Re-designation of CAE (Center for Academic Excellence) in Cyber Defense.
• Expand and streamline the collaboration of the local community colleges and high schools in cybersecurity and AI curricula.
• Development of elementary school (K-5) video games and videos on cyber/AI-security.
• Support other 菠菜网lol正规平台 cybersecurity/AI projects, including the 硅谷 Digital Forensics Lab of Justice Studies and the NSF Machine Learning for Cybersecurity REU grant of CMPE/CS.
• Expand outreach efforts, including holding a new 年度 Summer Camp for local high 学校的学生, CyberGuardians: Navigating the AI-Enhanced Future, Women in 工程 年度 conference, and various Hackathons in cyber/AI.
• Expand collaboration with industry leaders in cybersecurity and AI, including the 年度 CyberAware天.

PI Melody Moh was invited to provide a virtual presentation at the 2024 California Cybersecurity Workforce Development and 教育 Summit, held in Los Angeles, on 2024年3月8日.
